Just hitch hikers.  They are good filter feeders.  I would not worry about them.

If you don't want them all over everything, make sure you don't have excess food particles floating around. I used to get big masses of them growing in and on the sand in the back of the tank, and they were sticking out of the sand bed and growing on the underside of monti corals.
