Musical tone on APEX

I was at Victors house the other day doing service and all of a sudden, the APEX started playing a song. I've never heard it beep and now it's singing. Couldn't figure out how to turn it off either.

Anyone have experience with this issue?

it is a setting in the apex in the display, under setup or options (can't remember which).  There are a bunch of default sounds it can make.  You can turn it off through the display or the web interface (sndalm/sndwrn).

It's either the alarm or warning sound. If you use the web interface, it's under Configuration > Misc Setup. Like Scott said, there are a lot of options. 

 

The thing is, some alarm triggered. 

 

From the web interface, check Configuration > Outlet Setup and look for the alarm/warning entries, SndAlm and SndWrn, and check what logic is associated with each. To permanently silence either, just program it to "Set OFF"
