MeghanisradxD September 27, 2016 Share September 27, 2016 I had one tiny kenya tree I missed on some live rock when I bought it and they have taken over! I've never fragged anything before...what is the best way to completely remove it from the rock and avoid it from growing again?
ReefAddict September 27, 2016 Share September 27, 2016 I would cut it at the base (as close to the rock as possible) and then super glue over top of whatever is left.
MeghanisradxD September 27, 2016 Author Share September 27, 2016 Ahh superglue. Didn't think of that, good idea
Origami September 27, 2016 Share September 27, 2016 Dry it out. Scrape it off and put kalk paste over it for a few minutes. Or try covering it in dry salt for for an hour. Lots of options.
rioreef September 28, 2016 Share September 28, 2016 Years ago I had a bunch of the stuff. Although a soft coral, it is strong and I would grab it near the base and pull it off. There would be some areas that did not come off and then I delt with each of those.
MeghanisradxD September 28, 2016 Author Share September 28, 2016 Pulled a lot of them out of the rockwork as close to the base as I could. Still a ton way in the back of the tank I can't reach, but it's looking much better. Thanks!
