Wet/dry diamond holesaw?

I found damond holesaws at Home Depot that say they can be used without water. I cant remember the brand name, but they say wet/dry and are blue. Im wondering if anyone has used these without water. (FYI, they are not where the drill stuff is,they are in the tiling section) .

I'd be fine using those on tile without water.  Not on glass, though.  Water is cheap, use water.

Without the use of water the bit may wear a little more due to heat than if used with water

Also would assume risk of chipping/cracking would be higher without water. I have always used water. Have never had a problem other than with super cheap/thin glass tanks.

I decided not to try it. Would like to know if anyone ever does.
