tpallas October 1, 2015 Author October 1, 2015 You planning on changing the water often? When you do water changes maybe, use the dirty stuff? Not at all. I'm planning to gradually transition over to fresh water as I've read in studies that they grow faster. I plan on fertilizing it with standard bonsai fertilizer. I wish I had done this at the beginning of the summer and had it outside, would've gotten much better growth. I will say this one is ramified very well, I will need to wire it up. brad908 October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 (edited) It needs a whole lot more light than that to really thrive. How tall is that mangrove? It looks way too long and stretching for light. You want nice compact growth. Mine do 12-14 hours a day directly under a halide. Edited October 30, 2015 by brad908
brad908 October 30, 2015 October 30, 2015 If you're serious about mangroves, this is a good thread to read http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/332527-mangrovesaquariums-and-you/
