YHSublime April 16, 2015 April 16, 2015 Read up on nudibranches (especially zoa eating ones.) You have one, you have more.
eddiev0008 April 16, 2015 Author April 16, 2015 Well this was a new coral I Purchased f rom LFS. I went ahead a dipped it in coral DIP. If there were eggs would the dip kill the eggs? I hope so cause I put the coral in my tank
Prunfarm April 16, 2015 April 16, 2015 Had to twist it off, like it was attached to the base or plug? Was is semi firm? I kinda see spicules, maybe an orange sponge?
eddiev0008 April 16, 2015 Author April 16, 2015 Yea it wasn't moving even in the coral dip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
smallreef April 16, 2015 April 16, 2015 Here's a picture of the zoa eating m Nudibranch I found on mine... They seem to get alot brighter the more zoas they eat though... Found some after that looked neon green under my blue lights...
Incredible Corals April 17, 2015 April 17, 2015 That looks like some sort of sponge. The one smallreef posted is a perfect image of what a zoa eating nudi looks like.

Yea it wasn't moving even in the coral dip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It does sound like it might be a bit of sponge, then. Especially if it feels attached and immobile. Sent from my phone
