So I've been using a slimline water container as my ato container. It's a little awkward but I had a narrow space in my stand for it which this fit.

I've been out of town for the last week. I new it would be empty. So I started making some ro water in my bucket. I go to pour it into the ato container, almost fill it, and suddenly there's water everywhere! The ato container had split down the side and dumped nearly 2 gallons of water into my carpeting and under my stand.

Now debating on what to replace it with. ...

Tricia- I use a 7.5g potable water container available at the Army Surplus stores. It's a blue plastic Jerry Can about 5" wide and fits in tight spots.

Ugh. Nothing like water all over the place. At least it's freshwater?

Rob,

Would you provide the address for the Army Surplus store. Is it located in Vienna?

Oops. Comment on my uses. I use one for ATO without the mods. I use another with mods as my typical water carrying container.

Not sure if this is the same store, but there is one in Tysons in the Staples shopping center:

This post got me scared. I was using a dog food container, which cracked when I tried to drill a hole in the side for a float valve. I am now using a tall slim 11 gallon trash can but am worried about its longevity, so I am contacting Artfully Acrylics to get a custom acrylic reservoir made.

Thank cpu933k, this is the same one that I asked whether it is in vienna or somewhere else.

I also use a water jerry can with modifications. I have a cap with a hose. Also straps around the body so that it is easier to pour. Way better than the typical wide 5 gallon container.

Let me know if you want the modified cap and strap info.

The straps, which are absolutely worth it to haul water around and pour in a controller manner.

This second part is overpriced. You can DIY. I also heated the hose so that it angles down towards my sumo and ATO Container, which is just a second Scepter water can.
