Hello wamas. Happy snowday to everyone. Wanted to get the name of the faucet adapter for my rodi. I'm going to connect it to my outdoor faucet (it's located inside the garage) what am I looking for when I go to home depot? Thanks again

I'm not sure exactly what you are talking about but if you want to connect to a hose bib then below is what I use. I installed a two way "Y" connector with mine so i could still use a garden hose.

If you want to tap into a water line then you could use a self piercing saddle valve like the link below.

I got the first one. Connected the water line but it was leaking. Did I need anything else with it?

Somethings missing. You should have put the nut on the tubing, then put the tapered brass ferrule on the tubing, then push in the insert, then install all that onto the adapter.

Make sure that when you cut the tubing, it's an even clean cut all the way around. You could try wrapping some Teflon tape around the tubing also.

Personally.......I use the BRS type as only one piece and it's simpler.

+1 You can see my review on the BRS page under Jessica (first review on the top)
