brad908 December 12, 2014 Author Share December 12, 2014 Sump So NanoBox finally publicly posted about his new light, so now I can say this will be the light over this tank: I have been working on a design for a hybrid for some time. With the growing amount of people wanting LED/T5 I had to build an ultimate Hybrid. Going back and forth with custom extrusions, bending my own metal and other resources a light bulb went off. Contact Chris ( Old NanoTuners ) and see if we can work together and edit his current hybrid housings. I put in the first order and will be building them right after Christmas. I will also be offering a special price for pre-orders. These will be built, milled and everything right here in the States just like ALL Nano Box products. A few small design tweaks will take place over Chirs's current and beautiful design. I am MORE than excited to have these as I feel that the current hybrids units out there are extremely expensive and not nearly as aesthetically pleasing. You can still customize and make it your own. My target price is ~$750 - $1500. I will be offering multiple styles for each two and four bulb units. SPECS : Two & Four Bulb T5 24" Only Built in reflectors Active cooling with nearly silent fans 24" x 8" x 1" & 24" x 10" x 1" Dimensions HEP Ballast ( NON DIMMING ) Nano Box Arrays - Up to SIX arrays Hanging kit and working on gooseneck mounts Storm Controller Standard and can be upgraded to Bluefish Custom Colors - First run will have Black and White bodies - Tops can be ANY color BE READY! BowieReefer84 February 11, 2015 Share February 11, 2015 Maybe 2 coral+ bulbs plus the led (favoring blue spectrum) would be good. Looking forward to see it come together.

brad908 March 23, 2015 Author Share March 23, 2015 This is my finished light. Except it didn't come out as true navy blue, so it is being repainted. The wait continues Did some spring cleaning. Nothing else in the tank has changed. I've been waiting on this hybrid light before really adding coral to this tank.

brad908 March 30, 2015 Author Share March 30, 2015 Took some real pics. Do some natural light ones tomorrow. The light is just set on every puck set the same intensity. No t5's. Dave included 6700k bulbs and the tank looks very similar to these pics with t5's on.

AlanM March 30, 2015 Share March 30, 2015 It's really great looking. Now that you've had the mame for a while, do you still like it? What happened to the lps islands on the bottom, btw? I thought they were cool. Are the lps frags still on rocks or you add more sand or just down off the rocks or maybe just the photo angle?
