I feed my fishies twice daily. Blackworms mostly. BBS. Some greenies for the tang and foxface.

Top off is once in 10 days or so, to top off the top off.

I dont do WCs all that regularly.

Do scrub the glass once a week.

I do check daily if the SPS polyps are happy.

Daily- Feed fish and/or corals, check on water level, check on skimmer
Weekly- water change, empty skimmer cup (this ranges from every 4-7+ days), add more top off water
Whenever I Think Of It- Clean sump and equipment

Whenever I Think Of It- Clean sump and equipment

Is it a total scrub down? Like if you have tube worms in your sump and skimmer do you clean them out?

It's just out of curiosity since I know everyone does different things. I have never been great with sps and I want to gear my new tank towards it. And I think my routine needs to be more routine lol.

Tagging along.. Interest also.

Daily - feed, check ato, skimmer, inventory fish.

To minimize sump cleanings it houses a chocolate chip star that is an efficient cleaner.

I put my finger on the glass to check the temperature then I put it in my mouth to check my temperature.  Throw  some worms in the tank and I am good to go.  My fish have their own routine and they take turns cleaning the glass

No I do not remove every bit of of critters, that would be A LOT of work. My main goal is all of the detritus or algae.

Wake up, lights on for 30 min. Feed, fish count, coral check, make sure everything is in place. Quick go over of skimmer and sump. Clean glass as needed (like every 2 days.) 20-25% water change once a week. Check top off bucket.

Daily - Feed the fish, check the skimmer, check amount of algae growth on glass (nice gauge of high nutrients), find all the fish

Weekly - Refill ATO, clean the glass

Longer - Water changes, vacuum the sump, refill dosing jugs (Alk, Ca, Mg)

I also dose zeobak, zeozym, pohl's extra, LPS amino at about half their recommended times

Daily - feed fish, dose zee products, clean glass, check out ps and ato, empty/fill as needed

Weekly - 10-20% wc which includes sand vacuum and wall scraping

Monthly - change carbon

6 weeks - change zeovit rocks

3 months - vinegar bath pumps and ph's, wc from sump

I use aquatic log to remind me when I need to do monthly, 6 week and 3 month maintenance.
