  1. I changed to the doughboy build on RC. Here is the one I have on my frag tank. I did not include everything he has on the build but It controls a chauvet 8 port relay. It has a web interface. It is a great build.....
  2. A picture will be very helpful is recommendations. In general, if you are not using a check valve on the return line then it will back drain until it breaks siphon. I have a small hole drilled in the elbow above the surface to break siphon on my return.

  5. I bought a 4" PVC from HD, drilled holes is in it, stood it up and the Filtter sock fits right on top. Then put the flex hose down into the sock. Works great. Search DIY PVC Sock holder. Lots of options

  10. I originally was going for the dc3200 but there was a photographer in the store and recommended the 7000. He also recommended shooting both raw and jpeg. I found it so easy to revert back if needed when editing. Pick up a 3 tb usb for 80$ to transfer images to. Also recommended froknowsphoto.com videos. Also said to put in A mode to help learn technics in changing apertures.

  14. Atlas Scientific recently updated their pH stamp and were selling the older version for $9. I picked up (4) for controller builds about a month ago
  15. I use the pH probe on my Apex to monitor swings and make sure I don't overdose Kalk.

  17. I switched to an arduino mega. Have built 2 of d0ughb0y ' s build on RC. Does everything plus a nice Web interface.
  18. Am I the only one that thinks the MAX 38% on the IT2060 is low? Especially for the RBTA.
  19. If you want to run a day cycle you can get a spreadsheet at reefbreeders site. 12hr cycle. I peak 75 blue 45 white.

  21. I just swapped my mag9.5 with a jebao 6000 on my 65g. Tank running 1 degree cooler and power down 1.5amps on my apex. Online for 104$ can't beat it. Loving it so far.
