Guest mirosh January 5, 2006 January 5, 2006 OK...all of the livestock (except for a good amount of free live sand) is gone and I have come to the conclusion that it would be a HUGE hassle to move the tank as well, so I decided to just sell the whole setup. THIS IS PERFECT FOR A BEGINNING REEFER...it was my first tank and I loved it. This is what I have: - 1 55 gallon all-glass - 1 Stand for the 55 gallon - 1 Canopy (with retrofit T-5 HO lights, see below) - 1 External Overflow box - 1 10 gallon sump/fuge with home-made dividers - 1 Mag 10 return pump with home-made spray bar for return - A few bags of the Southdown PlaySand (aragonite sand) for establishing a DSB - Pretty much all water quality tests. - TechCB (Calcium Buffer) Chemicals - Iodine - 25 lbs Sea Salt Mix - Lighting in the retrofit T-5 is this kit: http://www.reefgeek.com/products/categorie...ing/104068.html originally purhcased for $330 with 7 month old lightbulbs 1 Sun, 1 Aquablue, and 2 Actinic/Blue Plus'. For all of the above supplies (which I would prefer to sell together) I think that $500 for the whole lot is reasonable. Feel free to make your best offer, please email me. Also, if I get no takers on the whole setup, I can start to sell individual parts...but only after I get no takers on the whole setup. Thanks, mishann1@yahoo.com -Mike
Herbert January 6, 2006 January 6, 2006 WHat is the stand like? is it metal or wood? pics? I'll take: - 1 Stand for the 55 gallon - 1 External Overflow box - 1 10 gallon sump/fuge with home-made dividers - 1 Mag 10 return pump with home-made spray bar for return - A few bags of the Southdown PlaySand (aragonite sand) for establishing a DSB - Pretty much all water quality tests. - TechCB (Calcium Buffer) Chemicals - Iodine - 25 lbs Sea Salt Mix Maybe: - 1 55 gallon all-glass I've already got good lighting so I don't need the lights How much would you sell everything exept the light? What about everything without the tank and the light?
davelin315 January 6, 2006 January 6, 2006 I might be interested in the lights if Herbert takes the rest. Let me know how much of if I need to work something out with Herbert myself for the package.

Let me know how much of if I need to work something out with Herbert myself for the package. 49163[/snapback] I'll take the rest and sell you the light First I must: 1.) See a picture of the stand 2.) Ask permission from parental units
Guest mirosh January 6, 2006 January 6, 2006 (edited) Herbert, Please e-mail me and I can then send pics of everything! The lights would be difficult to sell without the canopy, since they are retro-fitted into the canopy...send me an email and I can send you detailed pics. mishann1@yahoo.com -Mike Edited January 6, 2006 by mirosh
Herbert January 7, 2006 January 7, 2006 Sorry, I don't have permission or a great need for the setup. I hope it finds a great home -Michael
Guest mirosh January 7, 2006 January 7, 2006 I am trying to sell the whole tank setup together for $500: - 1 55 gallon all-glass - 1 Stand for the 55 gallon - 1 Canopy (with retrofit T-5 HO lights, see below) - 1 External Overflow box - 1 10 gallon sump/fuge with home-made dividers - 1 Mag 10 return pump with home-made spray bar for return - A few bags of the Southdown PlaySand (aragonite sand) for establishing a DSB - Pretty much all water quality tests. - TechCB (Calcium Buffer) Chemicals - Iodine - 25 lbs Sea Salt Mix - Lighting in the retrofit T-5 is this kit: http://www.reefgeek.com/products/categorie...ing/104068.html originally purhcased for $330 with 7 month old lightbulbs 1 Sun, 1 Aquablue, and 2 Actinic/Blue Plus'. -Mike

Sharkb8 January 9, 2006 January 9, 2006 Hey just wanted to thank you for the livestock and rock. Everybody and everything is doing very well! The sand is awaiting shipment of the HOB CPR refugium (I put it in the tank in a ziplock with the top open). Also wanted to tell everyone I've seen the setup and its all great stuff. Everything seemed to me to be in working condition mechanically and would definitely support a great 55g ecosystem based on the condition of the rocks, etc I got from him. I think its a great deal and if I had the money and space I'd take it. Wish I could have those lights and that canopy!
Guest mirosh January 9, 2006 January 9, 2006 Thanks for the kind words and the support Tom! I really wish I didn't have to get rid of anything, but alas, I must! Here are some photos of the setup...email me at mishann1@yahoo.com if you may be interested. -Mike
Guest mirosh January 10, 2006 January 10, 2006 Hello again all, the sump has been injured during breakdown (one of the baffles broke). Therefore, the sump is no longer part of the setup. All you need is a 10 gallon tank with some baffles. I have lowered the price to $450...any takers? I really need to move this tank! -Mike
