it's considered a pest. I can not ID what that is above though.

Poke it! If it retracts all the way into the rock. It's majano. If they close up then they are zoas or palys. But from your pics, they looks like majano.

Poked it and it retracted and its now out of my tank. Thanks for the clarification.

I was thinking the same thing..... but just to see who the "ultimate" pest would be.

Your majano was super healthy loved the color. But I dunno if it would take the ultimate pest title I grew out a large aptasia by accident and it looked amazing lol

I killed mined by feeding it aiptasia-x might sound crazy but after a coiple shots of it, it died.
