Frogspawn vs. Birdsnest

Looks like the frogspawn won. Question - should I leave the stem of the Birdsnest alone that got stung? Or should I cut it off?

 

I have moved the frogspawn to its own corner of the tank away from any other coral.

Had this same issue with an Acan vs a birdsnest. Leave the stung stem alone, it will regrow eventually once it is left alone. I broke off part of my birdsnest that had been killed but left another part because it was hard to reach. The part I left eventually regrew, making me regret breaking off the other.

Many of us have. I have. It leaves little welts on my skin. I've actually got scarring on the back of my right hand from an encounter a few years ago. I just couldn't leave it alone because of the itching.
