jimlin February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 anyone planning to purchase this in the future? http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/aqua-medic-plankton-reactor.html
Sharkey18 February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 Very interesting. Not breeding anything right now, so no, but LOVE the idea. Also want to wait to see some reviews.
Chad February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 Don't get me wrong, it's pretty... but that beauty comes at a pretty significant cost when a viable alternative can be constructed for <$10 out of two liter bottles. Aquamedic has manufactured that reactor (and the similar one that has an incorporated light) for a long time now.

Matt LeBaron February 8, 2013 February 8, 2013 Just to expensive. I use two two liters to grow out green water and one old container that I think had fuge mud in it originally as a holding container once my two grow out soda bottles have consumed all of the miracle grow I used to get them started. All of that with the miracle grow likely cost me less than $10 like Chad said. Add in the air pump, clip on lamp from homedepot, and cheap CFL bulb and the total cost is still less than $40 total.
