My 70g cube and 40 Breeder

Recommended Posts

Thought I would share a couple of pics of my two tanks. Both tanks are really going well and corals are happy. My pics are not that great "and I have a nice camera which I do not know how to use!".

Yeah it has taken some time. Most were grown from frags. A couple of the large millis in the 40 were bought as colonies but they seem to be growning very quickly.

.

wow. those corals are huge. must have taken some time to grow to that size.

Great looking tanks! Can you give us a run down on your equipment?

Both tanks are under 400w MH. One 20K Radium the other is 12K Reeflux. They both feed into a 100g sump and have a large skimmer "old euroreef that is run with 2 Ehiem 1260's. MRC dual calcium reactor, Lots of flow, currently have a mp40 and Tunze 6095 in the 70g tank and just a Tunze 6095 in the 40B. Run carbon full time and a small amount of GFO. I think the most important change I made about a year ago was switching to Spectapure DI resin. I run my RO water through there max cap and then there Silcone buster. Maybe overkill for some people but I am on well water. Thanks for the comments

Those pics don't due your tanks any justice. The colors are amazing. It's to bad your so far away :)

Thanks! I wish I could take better pics.
