kjamaya December 14, 2012 Author Share December 14, 2012 Thanks, I looked into it and dont know if I want to drill my tank afraid that it will break. What do you think of the DIY overflows using pvc pipes?
kjamaya January 11, 2013 Author Share January 11, 2013 (edited) Finally I am able to play around with my 16 nano and added some sand in the other day. I didn't want a deep sand bed nor did I want there to be a 1" sand bed so I added just enough sand to cover the bottom glass. As in for my aquascape I wanted to zip tie some rocks together but the way I wanted to scape them their weren't any holes for me to connect them...... Anyways, here are photos of my scape. They are slightly different. The rocks all the way to the right i'm not sure if I should separate them or connect them.... Coral Hind January 11, 2013 Share January 11, 2013 You can drill the rock with a carbide masonry bit. They only cost a couple bucks.

kjamaya January 11, 2013 Author Share January 11, 2013 So I forgot to post photos of the actual stand and tank. Here are 2 photos of the stand I bought off of craigslist for 20 bucks! Inside and stand with tank and light
kjamaya January 11, 2013 Author Share January 11, 2013 As in for lights I have a coralife dual t5's with a strip of ecoxotic royal blues. When I had the light at home everything worked fine. Then, when I arrived at my husbands job the bulbs didn't work any more. I was going to order some new bulbs but then decided to have fun with the nano and go with LEDs. smallreef January 22, 2013 Share January 22, 2013 Lookin good!!! it may be easiest since you have the overflow on it to use tint or a dark vinyl for the background...
