smallreef September 22, 2012 September 22, 2012 LOL cuz people have other fish in their tank they dont want eaten!!! I LOVE groupers BUT they are one of those that I would never put in any tank, even if it was big enough....
Incredible Corals September 22, 2012 Author September 22, 2012 Lol yeah such a cool fish. Wonder how fast it would eat all the chromis.
Incredible Corals September 22, 2012 Author September 22, 2012 Max size... 1'6"... Hmmm Fish in home aquariums rarely get to those max sizes. They have naso tangs listed at 18". Probably the biggest size recorded in nature. They also have a grouper in there listed at 4'.
SunWyrm September 22, 2012 September 22, 2012 He has a vlamingi, I don't think we should be going after the grouper's max size And no I don't mean we should go after the vlamingi either lol.
smallreef September 22, 2012 September 22, 2012 Yeah...but ive seen a foot long (if not a little bit bigger) miniatus in someones tank...pretty fish but not alot of compatiblee tankmates...
SunWyrm September 23, 2012 September 23, 2012 This is where I'm supposed to say he needs to start a new tank... But after working in my tanks all day... I would feel bad.
Incredible Corals September 23, 2012 Author September 23, 2012 I just ordered a small school of Pollenis. Going to be awesome!
AOberheim October 15, 2012 October 15, 2012 I was up at House of Fins in Greenwich, CT this weekend. They had one of the three of these fishes in the hobby this year. They had the fish sold for 10K before it even got to the store. A very pretty fish, but 10 grand can buy a lot of corals and equipment.
