Yes. especially with the AC on. That's been my experience.

And aside from being pretty warm, it's also been much drier than normal... My evaporation is up too.

As Jan mentioned it is normal if you are running your A/C unit. Some tanks also run warmer in the summer which leads to slightly more evaporation. If you have a fan over the tank to keep it cool then that also leads to more evaporation.

+1. What everyone else said. You can cut down on evap with a cover if your tank is open.

Keep in mind that as an A/C cools down your house,it also dehumidifies. That's the water coming from the back of a window unit.

Cover you sump will greatly reduces evaporation too. But it will slightly increases you tank temp.
