some updates. mostly bad.

all 4 heads of torch i got from carla melted. still have no idea why. everything else is doing great.

i got a pair of firefish and a coral beauty, they appeared to be healthy at the store but when i got home they all showed signs of ich. one of the firefish died monday, the other firefish and coral beauty look great now and are eating and swimming in the open.

on a better note, i bought a used BRS dual reactor on NR, itll be here tomorrow, it should help the tank out a bit.

i did a big water change today. i also filled the sump to proper level, so the skimmer will work now.

i fixed(reprogrammed) the ATO as well, so now thats working, before it would turn on like normal, but it wouldnt shut off, dumping 5 gallons of r/o in my tank

its been awhile since ive updated. nothings new livestock wise.

but i did get a new light because my sunpod craped out (one ballast broke)

its a 6 bulb 36 inch Tek-Light fixture.

i got that fixture and a 4 bulb Tek-light fixture for 200$

i need to buy new bulbs though. ill order them tomorrow.

and for now the 4 bulb will be a cat bed

me too! i bought the 6 bulb being told it wasnt fully functional but because the light is running in a series(really weird), the dead bulbs were holding it back, but after weeding the dead ones out i got it working.

so i got both working fixtures for 200.

i went ahead and order bulbs from marinedepot, i got 6 ATI bulbs for 99 shipped. good deal imo.

i did a water change today, i tested the water an hour later.

i picked up an elegance coral, and a nice sized neon toadstool colony.

i also got a large filter sock, im glad i did the bubbles in my display were annoying the H-E-double hockey sticks out of me.

i got a new camera, cannon reble t2i, im still learning the "D" is DSLR ahahah, i took a photography class last year, so atleast i have a basic understanding on how to use this camera.

tank crashed last week. heater stayed on and boiled the tank. i lost everything except my clams, perc, and ymg. for now everything is being held in my dads tank. gonna restart the tank this weekend, get the cycle going. pretty bummed out.

so the tanks cycle will start tomorrow, the new scape looks pretty awesome. i havnt decided what i want to stock this tank with. im open for suggestions.

ive also redesigned the sump. it now has two sections, one as the return section. and the other section is a huge fuge.

and within the next couple months I'm hoping to get a lot of macro algae and a mantis shrimp down there, the idea is to have a display under the display.
