Annap729 November 10, 2011 Author November 10, 2011 (edited) Thanks Mike. I actually bought the TISBE Reef Pods from House Of Tropicals, and there were 3 pods. yes, that's right-3 pods. zero movement. I added them to the tank and...bubkus. Apparently the batch they have there is worthless. i begged them to order another round, but they wanted nothing to do with it until they sold out of the 4 or 5 they had left. I added a whole bottle of tigger pods-at this point, $40 on pods and NOTHING in my little tank. so, I'm hoping someone out there has them crawling all over and can part with a half cup chock full Edited November 10, 2011 by Annap729
zygote2k November 11, 2011 November 11, 2011 I have heard that pulsing Xenia sucks up nitrates. I've always had it in my tanks and never have detectable nitrate readings. It's a cool coral and doesn't go crazy like pom pom Xenia. Worth a try. this is yet another urban tale. if you put a ton of xenia in a tank with high nitrates, it'll all die.
