mling August 10, 2011 August 10, 2011 I recently added a Powder Blue to my tank, 5 days now. It only eats the sheets of SeaWeed, does not touch any of the flake food. I use my auto feeder to feed my fish when I am away. Sheets of Seaweed does not feed in an autofeeder. I am aware that it can go a few days without seaweed since I have a mature 156 reef tank with lots of live rock. Thing is that this guy has been gobbling up seaweed from day one and I don't want to stress it out with the sudden change of no sea weed. I understand that many Power Blues don't make it due to initial stress. Any suggestions on what I should do to feed this Powder blue when I am away ? Thanks in advance. Mike
Guest thefishman65 August 10, 2011 August 10, 2011 I like this idea, but you probably don't have time before vacation. Depending on when you are gone and exact location I could stop by every few days.
Swimboy123 August 10, 2011 August 10, 2011 I drive through Centreville twice a day for a commute and I would be happy to throw seaweed sheets in for you while you are gone. Yes, I realize that I am a complete stranger, but the offer still stands
Integral9 August 10, 2011 August 10, 2011 can't you just chop it up into flak size bits and put that in your fish feeder?
mling August 10, 2011 Author August 10, 2011 Thanks to all those who offered to come by, however I do have a neighbour to do that if need be.
zygote2k August 11, 2011 August 11, 2011 depending on how long you're going away for, nothing needs to be done. more than 3 days and I'd get the neighbor.
