April 10, 2011 Meeting Frag Trades

With the meeting this weekend, I can't believe someone hasn't started this thread up yet! A similar thread helped me understand the benefits of WAMAS many years ago. So if you aren't a member, these are just examples of the types of corals and prices available to members of the club EVERYDAY! Other members should please add to the thread what they have available.

 

For the meeting, here are some frags I have available. I hope to have time to set up a frag tank and it should have other things available. However, please reserve your frags now (feel free to pay in advance if you want to make sure I don't run out before you get yours). In general, the pics are not of the actual frags available as the photos were tanken of prior batches of frags or borrowed from somewhere else on the internet. But they are accurate representations of what I am selling.

 

Hollywood Stunner Chalice- nice easy beginner chalice. Big frags $10

Metor shower Cyphastrea- Blue base with Red Polyps $25

 

Nice Zoas- Red, Pink, Radioactive Dragon Eye Green $15

 

Copp's Vesuvius Monti- uncommon but easy to grow $20

 

2-3 polyp Red People Eater Zoas $35

 

Blue Hornets- Normally goes for $50+/polyp. 2 polyp frags for $30, $10 per extra polyp. Most are 2-3 polyps each and HEALED!

 

Fire and Ice Zoas $40

 

Tubs blue zoas- ~15 polyps per frag $30

 

Purple People Eaters- 2 polyps $45

 

Psammacora- $10/frag

I was already planning to just give you my test frag if it survived. I am of the opinion that test items should only be given if not kept (because they are, after all, just tests), and you asked in that thread with a nice smiley so I figured when I cut it that it would go to you. I was going to tell you, then decided I'd make a little surprise of it, since frag surprises are always fun . In other words, I wasn't expecting anything for it, so I'll let you decide whether the fish is a sale or a trade.

Anyone have a nice frogspawn they could bring a frag of...and sell to me? I'd be interested in the kind that are purple with green tips, a small frag would be awesome. Please let me know what you've got and how much (by PM).
