Origami April 1, 2011 Share April 1, 2011 Beluga police! No, they need a tank at least 4 feet long with plenty of open area on top so they can surface for air. Because of this, you must keep your lights up high off of the surface of the tank, or else their fair skin can get sunburned. Also, note that they're meat eaters and consume about 3% of their weight in high-protein foods daily. You need a good skimmer and plenty of water volume for these guys. Also, kiss your CUC goodbye as they'll make a convenient and nutritious snack for your mini-beluga.
Guest thefishman65 April 1, 2011 Share April 1, 2011 Something is wrong somewhere. I read on the other thread that they start at 12 inches and grow to 4 feet. If so that picture is false advertising.
SkiCurtis April 1, 2011 Share April 1, 2011 Good one guys,if these were for real, they would be some serious eaters. You could keep you LFS in biz with all the feeders you would need.

treesprite April 1, 2011 Share April 1, 2011 Funny. I thought someone had faked that Marine Depot ad, then I looked at my e-mail and there really is an April Fools ad from them.
