Jan January 10, 2011 Share January 10, 2011 Who comes up with the names that appear under our screen names?
TonyD January 10, 2011 Share January 10, 2011 My guess is it's correlated to the number of posts you make.
extreme_tooth_decay January 10, 2011 Share January 10, 2011 (edited) You can set it yourself if you don't care for the default values or bird-puke corals. Look at your profile, click "edit my profile", and it is right there. Edited January 10, 2011 by extreme_tooth_decay
Origami January 10, 2011 Share January 10, 2011 Who? I don't know. These settings were on the board when I got here. They are tied to the number of posts that you make. But, also, I think they're a profile setting that, once you've achieved some number of posts, you're able to change. The current settings for number of posts needed to achieve a certain "rank" are: Egg 0 Pod 10 Hatchling 25 Urchin 75 Starfish 125 Tang 200 Reefer 300 Master Reefer 500 Grandmaster Reefer 1000 Uber Reefer 2000 Legendary Reefer 2500 Oracle Reefer 3000
RagTopMan January 10, 2011 Share January 10, 2011 Who comes up with the names that appear under our screen names? As you are approaching "Oracle Reefer" status did you have anything else in mind for yourself? Perhaps, "High Priestess of the Reef"...
skipperawe January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 could you maybe be a little bit more specific than "its right there".
extreme_tooth_decay January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 could you maybe be a little bit more specific than "its right there". If you don't see it, it probably isn't right there. Might not show up till you have certain # of posts.

Brian Ward January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 nope.... not there.... probably because of my rank or because im a student Looks like you have 78 posts. The ability to edit that text happens at either 500 or 1000 posts (I can't remember right now).

Look at your profile, click "edit my profile", and it is right there. What classifies as a 'bird-puke coral'? is that what your picture is of?? Origami January 11, 2011 Share January 11, 2011 Jan, when I put a screenshot into a post, I start by hitting the print screen button on my keyboard. This captures the screenshot in memory. Then I open Paint and paste the picture. I may crop it there, and even add annotations. Then, I'll save it as a JPG file. Upload the JPG file to Photobucket or to your WAMAS gallery, and you can paste it into your post like any other picture. Hope this helps.
