Tiny snails?

I have tons of these small snails in my tank any guesses as to what they are? When I say tiny I would say the largest is maybe 1/4 inch. When I say tons I mean thousands of them. You only see them after lights out and they seam to only eat algae and don

I get these guys: Columbellids. Dave Lin helped me identify them.

They grow to around 1/2 inch max.
