fishworld :) their display is almost worth making the trip down to richmond :)

to my knowledge, there isn't any decent public aquarium in va.

is that a store or a museum kind of thing?

im looking for a marine museum, somewhere you can spend a day or half a day.

ill be going with a really big group of people, including kids.

I was looking into the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. Is that worth it?

It has been a few years since I have been down, but I love Nauticus in Norfolk. Not so much an aquarium, but I believe they call it a "celebration of the ocean". There are a few tanks, but much more other stuff to see like ships and just about anything having to do with the ocean. You could easily spend a half day and not be bored.
