Kelly September 12, 2010 September 12, 2010 I was looking into investing in RO/DI system when my LFS suggested I consider a Kold Sterile system. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
gwweber September 12, 2010 September 12, 2010 what is the price range your looking at http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/75-gpd-ro-di-5-stage-standard-system.html? I have one of these i got used and it is a pretty nice unit. I would add a pressure gage if you care to and a tds meter would be nice, however you can add either of those at a later date. My original unit was a corallife 4 stage, paid amost as much and it is a four stage. Keep in mind that the biggest difference in any of these units is who sells tham, as they all probally have the same componates and put there own stickers on them. The one i linked is 75 gal per day and the accesories it comes with to hook it up are far far nicer then the coralife unit had, not to mention that it does 25gpd more water.
Chad September 12, 2010 September 12, 2010 Also, take a look at air, water and ice, as they are a WAMAS sponsor and you will get a discount.
reefhunter September 12, 2010 September 12, 2010 I dont know anyone using the kold sterile system. RODI is what everyone uses. Air Water Ice, Bulk Reef Supply. I use SpectraPure products but they are very expensive.
davelin315 September 24, 2010 September 24, 2010 Support our sponsors! Or, come out to the next meeting and try and win the great RO/DI that was donated by AWI! October 9 (shameless plug for the club!).
Origami September 24, 2010 September 24, 2010 I sent you an email on this earlier, Kelly. Just wanted to make sure that you got it.
