Cheap MH bulbs

There was a topic started awhile back on some MH bulbs that were really cheap and I know alot of people on here tried them out. Now i was wondering how everyone liked the bulbs and to see if anyone did par testing on them over time. Let me know I cant seem to find the original thread

Scroll down a bit on the first page and you'll see where Dave did a follow up test on the lamps 5 months later. The PAR was down slightly, but not any worse for the cheaper bulbs as compared to the more expensive ones.

It was the Plus-Rite bulb I think you are talking about. I have been using them over a year now without any issues.

I don't have any complaints about them. I'm using the 250w 14kK ones and because they are so cheap I change them out before they hit the six month mark.

I switched to the Plus Rite bulbs as well. I ran the 400W and now am running the 250W, both 20k spectrum. I definitely like them.
