I live in MD and not sure if its cheaper to have glass shipped or buy locally and then I wouldn't know where

I need 4 pieces that are about 18 x 10" then 1 piece about 10" x 10" I don't need it any thicker than 1/4"

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Basically I'm trying to build an ato, I'd have one built out of acrylic but I think it'd be a lot cheaper to go with glass

Would a plastic bin work for your application? Target/Walmart sells all different sizes for very cheap. Maybe even a plastic trashcan (cut down to proper height).

I used Banner Glass also for tank glass and for tempered glass shelves in the kitchen. I was very pleased with them.

If you want to build one I might have some plexi about the sizes you are looking for.

I could take a shot at plexy I just need it in roughly the size i specified, it would have to be at least true 1/4" though and I could just put a "euro brace" rim on it, the clarity doesn't really matter all that much to me either.

+3 on Banner Glass. They where great to deal with. I had my baffles done at the Manassas store.

Jason-

I've been using the rubbermaid wrapping paper holder. It's tall and thin and will hold about 8 gallons. Really cheap too.

re: the glass .. have you checked Home Depot and/or Lowe's ? I normally get the plexi that I use from one or the other and they usually have glass in the dimensions you want, but not sure about the thickness.

i have two reasons for not using the rubbermaid one i need a custom size and two im trying to have a some what sleek looking setup
