Incredible Corals April 5, 2010 April 5, 2010 My 55 gal mixed reef. Surprisingly the 15+" LTA is hidden between the two peninsulas on the left and right side of the tank.
Coral Hind April 5, 2010 April 5, 2010 Very nice pictures. I don't see the LTA but I do see a RBTA. How do the two hippo tangs get along?
Incredible Corals April 5, 2010 Author April 5, 2010 Very nice pictures. I don't see the LTA but I do see a RBTA. How do the two hippo tangs get along? You can see some of the tentacles sticking out on the bottom of the last pic. The LTA is about the size of a basketball. The hippos are pals (for now). They stick together most of the time and eat together without problems. I had a third but he jumped (very sad day). I'm sure when they get around the 4" mark they will want to venture off on their own. When that happens one will get to stay.
Coral Hind April 5, 2010 April 5, 2010 I see the LTA now. A 55 is not easy to aquascape so you did a great job.
Incredible Corals April 5, 2010 Author April 5, 2010 I see the LTA now. A 55 is not easy to aquascape so you did a great job. This is 3rd or 4th rescape that I did.
m3fan8ic April 5, 2010 April 5, 2010 How do the two hippo tangs get along? I have two blue hippos in my tank they are just fine. One is about 4" and 2nd one is 3"
Incredible Corals April 6, 2010 Author April 6, 2010 Do your clownfish host ? Yep, they sleep in the LTA all night. I guess they don't feel much of a threat in the take during they day so they swim around with the other fish.
trockafella April 6, 2010 April 6, 2010 It really is a great looking tank, especially in person, very clean inside and out..!!
