TonyInVa March 9, 2010 Share March 9, 2010 If I remember correctly when I cycled my first tank years ago, you don't turn on the skimmer initially. Tank has now been running for two days. I think many people feel that it is not as important to treat LR like an aquarium when the goal is to prepare it for and aquarium. Keeping up on even keeled SG is important.
