Vader May 27, 2009 May 27, 2009 I would like to know how long other members have their display tank lighting on for. I have my lights turning on at 7am and turning off at 7pm. Do you think that is too long or is it ok?

Origami May 27, 2009 May 27, 2009 I have three stages of mostly T5's (7 T5's and 1 VHO) that provide graduated lighting. Sunrise to sunset is 12 hours for two lamps (240W) only. The second stage is on 10 hours (5 total lamps, 480W) and the third stage is on 8 hours (8 lamps, 720W).
Boret May 27, 2009 May 27, 2009 Thanks for the link DDiver. After reading it I am going to try with 6 hrs of MH instead of my current 8 see if I see better coloration.
