Sugar Magnolia January 19, 2009 Share January 19, 2009 Just as the title states. I'm planning an AIO 5.5 nano and would like to affix LR to the back wall and the two sides of the tank. What would be my best choice to do this? Epoxy? Gel cyanoacrylate? Great stuff foam? Other choices? Thanks! http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_AquariumPage...eous_epoxy.html
trockafella January 19, 2009 Share January 19, 2009 How about frag rocks.. I know someone on here glued rocks to theback of a nano, dont remember who exactly it was, but they did it.. My worry would be how it would hold up when you add corals to it.. I imagine you would have to be careful when putting any pressure on it.. Just my opinion though... Origami January 19, 2009 Share January 19, 2009 Have you thought about just making a 3-dimensional egg crate frame, zip-tying the rocks onto the frame and covering the gaps with pond foam (plucked and coated with sand)? This exact approach was used successfully to aquascape a tank described in a thread on RC. It's not only removable, but also allows you to put stuff behind it (if desired) such as power heads and the like.
