flowerseller November 20, 2008 November 20, 2008 Have big bucks ready. That "small" piece is going to be well over $50 if I read your post correctly.
ChuckN November 20, 2008 November 20, 2008 Piedmont Plastics, Inc. 800-266-7898 Not going to be cheap though
Jon Lazar November 20, 2008 November 20, 2008 usplastics.com has an assortment of large diameter clear acrylic tubing. For example: 12" OD x 1/8" Wall Clear Cast Acrylic Tubing for $69.87 per foot 12" OD x 1/4" Wall Clear Cast Acrylic Tubing for $132.93 per foot Both have a 5 foot minimum order...sounds like a group buy! Integral9 November 20, 2008 November 20, 2008 Wow those prices are really good for the cast acrylic. You can save some $$ by going with the "extruded" acrylic instead of the "cast" acrylic, but it looks like USplastics doesn't have OD over 6" of the extruded acrylic. I don't need a diameter larger than that, but you all might. Im in for the GB.

Which is one of the reasons the nicer skimmers and other components cost so much. cast acrylic is much stronger than extruded, hence the huge price discount.

Call Piedmont and see if they have any scrap of what you're looking for. They sell their scrap material super cheap - it's all in the bins on the right when you walk in.
NAGA November 20, 2008 November 20, 2008 I have several feet of 27" diameter tubing (cast) 1" thick wall
