kngfisher November 12, 2008 November 12, 2008 cant say normal or not but my torch coral does the same thing from time to time
wdytat November 12, 2008 November 12, 2008 Sparked my interest... Seems most say it is the start of splitting. Link 1 Link 2 Link 3
Smoothtriqueter November 12, 2008 Author November 12, 2008 Thats what I was thinking, it's happening to another frogspawn in my tank too so just wanted to make sure it wasn't a disease.
jason the filter freak November 12, 2008 November 12, 2008 My rics and shrooms will do it occasionally
gmubeach November 13, 2008 November 13, 2008 In my case I have my hammer doing the same thing it usualy means something is out of wack with my tank... It doesn't mean its splitting as mine doesn't split when this happens.... Its weird too it always comes in the same spot I thought it was cancer... who even knows if corals get cancer:( anyway It didn't kill the coral or damage it just means check everything and make sure your temps are right salinity and so on.... best regards Troy
