Last week, I ordered my very FIRST coral via mail. From mrcoral.com. It took longer to get 'underway' than I anticipated (about 4-5 days) - but arrived the next day. It was, of course, the coldest day in ages. The water in the bag was 69.8 degrees by my thermomenter. There was one little 'heat pak' in the top of the box, and a little insulation. And inside the bag, a very dead-looking rock with mushy-looking polyps on it. HOWEVER - within 24 hours, it was 80% open, and within 48 hours, it was a beautiful fist-sized rock covered with small light-lavender anthelia with neon green centers. Doesn't look like a single polyp died.

So - 1 thumb up for mrcoral.com.

Thats freaking beautiful

Does anyone near me want to go up to the store that Saturday? I don't really plan to buy anything this time, but would really like to see the place, just not by myself.

KLEE has been taken care of and your Aussie will be shipped Monday.

Waited on his paycheck to clear Super Aussie on the way. Please post a nice Pic!!

Received my Aussie Snow Cap colony today. All polyps are already openned wide as of tonight. Very beautiful red color, just like the online pix shown. The wait has been long to rectify the mishap; however, now receiving this beautiful colony has made me a come back customer. Sonny also gave a free colony of red zoanthids, not sure what the official name for it; however, they have small polyps just like Rik's blue tubs with super red all around. Very beautiful freebie. I can't complain after the first purchase delivered.

Both bags were packed with 5 layers of nylon bags, well insulated box. My confidence is back with Sonny and his online store. Will purchase from online again. No issue from me anymore.

I just received my first order from Sonny at Mr. Coral. After reading the reviews here I wanted to give Mr. Coral the benefit of doubt and try for myself. I placed an order for some Candy Apple Pink Zoas which were on Halloween special usually $39.95 for only $19.95 and also used the $10 first order credit. I thought, cool, $40 worth of Zoas for only $10 with free shipping. Mr. Coral (Sonny) emailed me and said he couldn't ship a $10 order, he would lose money. I was a little pissed because it didn't say anything about a minimum order to qualify for free shipping but I understood where he was coming from, nobody is in business to lose money. I asked what would be the minimum order he would ship to me and he said $25. It sounded fair so I asked if he could add $20 worth of Superman Zoas, he said no problem and even gave me the sale price even though the sale had ended. Today the package came on time just as he said, it was nicely packed in a styrofoam lined box and a heat pack. The Supermans about 40 polyps were on a rock and the pinks about 20 polyps were on a frag disc. I think I got a great deal and I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm sure I'll use Mr. Coral again in the future and I'll be sure to make a trip up to Frederick to see his new store. Thanks Mr. Coral.

Hey Wreck can you post a pic of the superman zoas? I was thinking of buying some from him but the colors didn't seem to be on point from the pics on his site...

Thanks!

I'll try to get some pics but my aquarium photography skills are lacking. Do the pics from the site not look like Supermans? I just saw blue and red and thought of Superman's suit.
