Just got these pictures few minutes ago... the clowns were laying eggs as I walked by.

on the right hand corner, look at the claw of one emerald crab trying to feast on the eggs, and the clown bitting him continuosly.

on the first picture look at the center white stripe of the clown, there is a little tube coming out of his belly... he is fertilizing as I took the picture..

sounds like you need a little CENSORED black sticker on that pic

now after the episode we can all sit back and relax :smokin:

how come, this morning the clowns were eating the eggs... how come?

do I have to pull them out, or use a tile as someone suggested in another thread to pull them out?

are the eggs easy to harvest and maybe have baby clowns in the future... and last.. is it worth it?

Maybe they eat eggs which are not livable?

My FW angelfish did pick eggs from the bunch - not fertilized, bad etc.

my guess if they did not fertilize properly, they just eat as food? Looks like daddy might have a low S.C. :lol2:

should take about 2 weeks before the eggs release and go pelagic

:why: low count? :why:

Check the PAR on them bulbs! Sounds like your big daddy is getting irradiated with that low SC Doug mentioned!

By the way, add this to the first image...

well, as of today at 10AM, the son of a guns, I mean the clowns ate more than 75% of the eggs they laid... they must be hungry or they like eating CAVIAR ..
