Update of My 3 gallon Picotope

Hello All,

 

I am excited to tell you all that my tank is still doing nicely. I have only suffered 2 losses and I think we are coming up on a year. Here are some reminder pictures and some updated ones.

It is a usa current 18 watt w/ a 50/50 bulb

where did you get your snails... had one in my 46 and I want to use those in my 20 once its up

if you're talking about the yellow stripe snails, they are bumblebee snails - I was going to get some, but then heard they are not entirely reef safe

I have some of those white snails with the "tails" but can't remember what they are called. They bury themselves in the sand during the day - very cool hiding.

Nassarius snails.

 

I've kept bumble bee snails for years without any problems. I have one that is about 4 years old and completely covered in coraline. :( No more cool black and yellow stripes.
