Pod question

I see pods on the glass walls of tank but they don't appear to be moving. Is this normal?

Hard to get a good pic as there's no background on the rear of tank.

Those are not copepods. Hoping someone else can chime in for correct identification.

That's likely the medusa stage of a hyrdoid, they are very common to see in new tanks, especially, and usually will not be visible within a few days.  Most copepods will be smaller than this and will be moving quick enough to see.

Hydroids-Bad hitchhikers. Good news is that they don't tend to live very long and die off on their own as the tank progresses

Yep. Hydroids. Those will quickly disappear. Nothing to worry about.
