  6. I got a 75gal with a 25gal sump...this tank is located on the second floor..and i was wondering with all the weight of water, rocks, sand, canopy, stand...will my floor be ok with this weight? I believed i read it RC that 1 gal of water = 8.5lb
  7. Ok here is the question: Do i have to add another wire to connect from Socket A to Socket B? or one single yellow wire is enough? I did try to plug in without adding any wire from Socket A and B and it works. But the instruction on the ballast it shows that there is another wire going from A to B. So two wire total...it works fine just single yellow wire, but i just want to make sure before i connect everything up.. Thanks

  9. I did not lose any zoas with Furan 2 at all. They are opening up very nice now.
  10. Phisigs79, I have been battling with this pox for a while too. I have been experimenting with Furan 2, a med that fight against fungus. I use this med to fight against fungus when i used to breed Discus (freshwater fish). Alot of people in RC are dealing with this. You should check out this link: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthre...mp;pagenumber=1 This is what I wrote over RC: Ok guys here is the summary of my experience with Furan. Here is what you need. 1 cup of RO water. 1 capsule of Furan and 1 extra cup of your tank water ( this is used to wash the zoas before put it back in your main tank after the treatment, I do this because I dont want to risk Furan from killing any of my fish and other corals). Procedure: Match the temp of your RO and PH level to your current tank. Mix 1 capsule into RO cup and mix it good until RO water turn green. After the dip, wash the zoas in your tank water on the other cup you had put aside. Then put the zoas back in the tank where there is a stronger flow. Do three treatment in a row then let it rest for exactly one week, then continue with another three treatment. Repeat if your zoas are not improving. Keep in mind, during the treatment I slowly increase my temp from 78 to 81-82. Furan works best in higher heat. But I would not go over 82. In freshwater I bump it up to 84-86 for Furan treatment. I also increase my water change from 5 gal per week to 10 gal every 3 days. Here is what I did on my zoas: 1st WEEK 1st treatment started with 3 min dip 2nd treatment started with 5 min dip 3rd treatment started with 7 min dip Rest for 1 week 2nd WEEK 4th treatment started with 10 min dip 5th treatment started with 15 min dip 6th treatment started with 20 min dip I will give it another week to rest then will continue if there are still white bumps on my zoas. So far my mean green is looking great..most of the bumps have cleared. I will take an update pics for you guys later tonight. I must say, this procedure has worked for me, it might not work for you. So please do this at your own risk. Thanks
