  6. I suggest water changes. The simple approach often has good results.
  7. It's true....the copperband will still eat the aiptasia.....all of it. It will take time.
  8. Here are some pictures....before I knew what unsafe fragging was.... These are progression pictures showing the: A purple bonsai with red bugs 2 weeks later after treating entire tank 3 months later...what a difference
  9. I suggest daily water changes. It is unlikely that one (1) rock and a sponge will be sufficient biological filtration.
  10. The whole tank must be treated.
  11. Copper Band Butterfly
  12. I'm not familiar with the Apex, but I think you only need the temp statements. I use an older ACIII and have two heaters programmed with phenomenal success. It's super simple. A graph of the temperature over time shows the range of fluctuation to be no more than 1 degree. The temperature always stayed between 77.0 and 78.0. The Apex can do this, right? If Temp < 77.0 then HT1 ON If Temp > 77.8 then HT1 OFF If Temp < 77.2 then HT2 ON If Temp > 78.0 then HT2 OFF
  13. You should consider a full "Cleanup Crew". Check if Dr. Mac has multiple types. You can also purchase over the Internet. Blue Zoo Aquatics is an excellent option, although it's expensive. I just purchased this for a 50g and I'm really happy with it. https://www.bluezooaquatics.com/productDetail.asp?did=2&pid=1610&cid=313 9 Astraea Snails 16 Nerite Snails 16 Margarita Snails 3 Turbo Snails 20 Onyx Nassarius Snails 16 Red Leg Reef Hermit Crabs 16 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs 2 Emerald Crabs There are also other options for Cleanup Crews from them. https://www.bluezooaquatics.com/productList.asp?cid=313&did=2
