  1. 210 in-wall setup with 80 gal. sump. Sal=1.027 Cal=490 Alk=10 P=8.2 Temp=78 Phos=0.....lost 3 fish in the past 5 days,44 gal. water change biweekly. Zero polyp extension from the corals that are still alive.
  2. No poopy water.....it's an in-wall with a 3-4" piece of drywall above it.
  3. Splashing of the water. Perhaps it's the paint?
  4. I think I know why my fish/corals are dying. The drywall above the tank was not water proofed as I beleived it to be. There's a hole in the drywall and it seems that that the dust/particles have been falling into the tank...DUH!!! How toxic is this dust/particles to the animals? Should I dump all 210 gals. and start over?
  5. Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but they're located in Suitland Md. just outside of D.C. http://www.suburban-electronics.com/
  6. I have been going to Roozens since I began in this hobby 15-16 years ago. When I started Larry was there along with a guy named Mike, who later left to start/work in a store in Va.(I forget the name). Back then I could get healthy Black Tangs there for $125 when every other store in the area was asking $250 and above. When I quoted the price that Roozens was asking they stated "yeah we can't compete their prices." Not all of the live stock that I've purchased there survived, as is the case with many of the other stores in the area. If Roozens quotes me a price that I feel is over priced, even from Jos, I pass on it just as I do with the other stores in the area. I go to stores in Baltimore and their live stock is $20-$30 more than the store in Glen Burnie, while their dry goods are $6-$10 more. I was in Roozens about a month ago and they had about 10-15 Achiles (sp) Tangs. I was there today and they had 3 Floweri Tangs, all were healthy looking. No otherstore in the area had them that I know of. I have learned to do my research before buying from ANY store which helps me to know what to look for before buying any fish/corals. If it doesn't look good, don't buy it. if it does look good, it's still a crap shoot. I have had animals that I've brought from roozens that have out lived animals brought from other reputable LFS in the area and vice versa.
  7. Thanks
  8. "The pump is extremely loud now. Over the years it has just gotten louder. I have a barracuda that i can hardly hear". Most likely your bearings are in need of replacement. There's a place in Fairfax (I beleive) that Johnny of BRK referred me to that's an authorized repair shop.
  9. Link to Stock list is missing
  10. Thanks for the reply. The Maxi Jet is definitely pushing the water through, but the media isn't suspended....it's just laying there. I just tested the output with the Hanna Phosphate checker and it read 000 so............
  11. I have a 6x14 Media Reactor to run Rowaphos in. What type of pump should I use? Should the Rowaphos be suspended in the reactor? Thanks
  12. 1 phosphate and 1 reagents thanks
  13. A friend of mine sent me a link to the equipment auction site for Wally's. Not sure if it's okay to post it here, so if the Mod's can confirm that it's okay to then I will, otherwise You can PM me for the link.
  14. I think this is the one...........You're telling me it's been under my nose all the time? Thanks to all of you for your help.
  15. I beleive it was a word/excel type of document were you could enter and track your parameters/test results continuously. By the way.....I appreciate the way you all have helped me to find it.
  16. It was posted about 1-2 months ago. Could have been a repost.
  17. No not that one. There was something posted to keep track of your tank parameters.
  18. Someone posted a tank stats template a while back that I lost when my computer crashed. Does anyone have it?
  19. Was afraid of that. Not sure if it's the seals or not.
  20. I seem to have srung a leak in my Sequence 750 but can't see where it's coming from. It appears to be coming from the bottom. Anyone have any experience with this and this pump?
