  8. Looking to add a pop of color to your tank? This weekend, 2/6-2/8, when you purchase a beautiful regular priced Yellow Belly Hippo Tang, you may also select either a Yellow Tang or a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone at half price! And don't forget about our expanded hours! Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 10am-6pm, and now Sunday too 10am-6pm.
  9. Since this system doesn't have the traditional bulkhead/nut fitting, it may require both gaskets to get a good seal. This is because you will be tightening at least one of the fittings onto the male/male coupling only tight enough to compress the gaskets rather than to seal the threads to the coupling within that fitting.
  10. We have a used 36" Solarmax HE (2 x 21W T5) fixture for $50 with one 10K and one Actinic bulb. We also have several metal halides if you are looking for something with more intensity.

  12. Agree with the above on the fan issue- very much the "weak link" and the hotter the lights are the faster parts start to burn out. However in your case, take a look at the power supply box. It should have a small green light on it. The light should be on continuously. If the light is out or (more likely) flickering, you will need to replace the power supply. Over the last few months we have had to replace many of the power supplies on the older AIs. Not sure why they go bad, but they do. The lights typically do exactly what you describe- on for 30 sec, off for 30 sec, on, off, on, off....... If you need a new power supply right away, we have some in stock. Good luck!
  13. In that picture I see three bunches of eggs. One on the far right in a spiral shape halfway up the polyp, one two polyps to the left at about the same level, and another one polyp to the left of that at the same height/slightly higher. I also see two nudi's, though you probably have many more of each. You're picture is excellent by the way- could be put in a textbook.
  14. Agree with Coral Hind. Dip ALL the zoas in your tank and keep them somewhere you can observe them. You will need to dip several times as the eggs hatch.
  15. We've never seen a clownfish host another fish before! Until this happened while we were acclimating from a recent shipment. Thought I would share. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll28/L82RISE/th_IMG_5786_zpsivvfjtax.mp4
