Added a 24WATT uv sterilizer letting it run 24/7 I'm aware the bulb issue I'm not worried about that at the moment. Tanks 20G Will this kill whatever free floating parasites out of my DT? I know it won't do nothing about the eggs but it should help speed up the process. Hopefully. Many people say itnkills beneficial bacteria. But isn't that bacteria on the rocks and in the sand and not free floating?

I wanna put some Xenia from my MT but I'm afraid of transferring whatever disease I had.

Passed the leak test. Went out and bought live sand and live rock filled it up. It's in my bed room. Love it! So cute. Idk what to put in it. This stock light is pretty. Bright. I added more blue lights to it. I wanna keep softies in it.

How would I quartentine coral? Let's say corals come from a tank known to have ich. I know they can't be infected but the cysts is what I'm concerned about. Found some free stuff on Craigslist. I googled some say put it in some tank water in a bucket or something for 3 days. Not sure. These will go in the fluval (if it passes leak test) and the 80G but it doesn't have a light yet. I don't wanna contaminate anything especially after going thru all this trouble.

Someone threw out a fluval spec V! Picked it up off the curb, currently doing a leak test. It's filled with water and in my tub. Hoping it passes. I'd like to put it in my bed room. Googling the stock light. It's 7000k. I added a blue Chinese tape strip light to it. Adds a nice blue tint. Removes the harsh yellows. Wondering what corals this would support. Or dare I say a nem.

Yeah I wouldn't move that fish around a lot. You might even consider getting rid of your other tangs because that's a $6000 fish.

I scared the crap out of them so bad by saying theirs broken glass everywhere and I have babies I guess they panicked and sent the wrong box. Finally was able to clear out the basement/family room. It was full of boxes and storage since we moved in never had time to clear it out. Set the tank up found this nice stand at unique's for $10. I think it's a bar? dry rock I got for free someone on Craigslist wanted it gone. I poured in a bottle of bio spira and clear ammonia and walked away. I'll revisit it after all the holidays. I decided to keep it separate from the 20. Which is in the living room. They actually sent me the sr-80 by mistake. Well for what it's worth. I know a lot of people actually turned selling corals into a buisness or side buisness. Which is fine. Set up a security camera in your frag room. Or tank in the living room or whatever. And don't hide it. Put it in an obvious place. They'll see camera's and won't steal. You don't gotta go all out and buy a major security system. A cheap webcam will even work. Maybe put a sign you can remove when they leave "smile your on camera" I'd be more worried about them stealing valuables around the house kletomania is a disease. An addiction. It can be a bic pen cap. They'll get an itch to steal it. Doesn't make it okay. Just saying if they go to length's of special suit cases or even come prepared with a cup of saltwater. That's kleptomania

Got the replacement today. Pretty nice tank. And they gave me free upgraded media baskets. Insead of the stock filter socks because the first one came broken. Didn't mess with it yet I need to get a tank stand. And I need water. And more rock. And sand. And salt. Ugh what did I get myself into again..

I picked up a hammer covered in hair. All I did was use tank water in a little container and a tooth brush. Yes it got mad but now it's one of the prettiest corals in my tank.

So I just ordered the SR-60 very excited about it. I'm in fallow. Should I just start all over. Or transfer my old rocks over? Today makes one month fallow. I do wanna keep my corals so I think getting rid of the rocks would be pointless. I'll ditch the sand it's only 10lbs.

I have no idea the cares and needs of seahorses. Id love to try it one day.

I'm upgrading again. Thinking about going 60G as I got some space at home cleared up.

I crammed over 40 pieces of coral in a tiny 20G tank. And I always want more because I still have rock available. And I'm looking to buy those magnet rocks so I can start building upwards lol.
