I had to start fresh with a new Apex and reprogram everything again. I did this party as a cheat sheet if I have to do it again some day!!

Another tip: Don't bother downloading the Apex Fusion App. Worthless. Log into the Apex Fusion website in your phone and "Add to Home Screen". It works 100% better and from anywhere. See? The user interface is just like the web. This works ever better for iPads.

I've been pretty content with my New Life Spectrum sinking 1mm, but it is time to buy more pellets and figured I would ask if there is something out there that my fish can't live without. I've been hearing a lot of chatter about Coral Frenzy and some others. Anybody have some feedback on other pellets?

Feeder program I have an Apex AFS but I don't use the wizard on Fusion. I setup a virtual outlet to do my feeding so I can control other equipment. Here is what happens when I feed: Return pump and skimmer turn OFF, 1 min later autofeeder turns ON, 5 minutes later the return pump turns ON, 3 minutes later the skimmer turns ON This happens at noon, 2pm and 4pm. I have powerheads that circulate during this time, but they are not controlled by Apex. Virtual outlet Feeder Return pump Skimmer

Dosers A and B I have my dosers come on every hour for 4 seconds. Part A is on the hour and Part B is 5 minutes later. If my pH gets up to 8.20 then my dosers will not come on.

Return pump I have a Virtual Feeder program that I will post later. If you do not want to program your feeding, you will want to delete lines 3 and 4

Skimmer This program will turn off the skimmer any time the return pump is turned off. When the return pump is turned back on, it waits 3 min then turns on.

Heater program. My heaters individual controls are set to 79.5, so I set my Fallback to ON

It could just be growing pains. They do have a great product. I hope this was just an isolated incident.

Just a reminder that you can make a back up of your Apex programs. It basically takes a snapshot of how your Apex is programmed when you save it. If you ever choose to "restore" your backup because of an issue in your program or equipment failure, you can choose which items are restored from your backup file. I thought I would remind everyone to save a backup....just in case...you never know... The way you do it is: go to your Classic Dashboard then Configuration > Save Configuration.
