  1. Move the VHO to outlet 5 6 or 7 first.... Then configure the outlets by choosing the outlet with the dropdown.... after you select it.... Rename if you choose. configure with your options. Do this for each outlet.
  2. No.... example... Outlet 1 is Halide.... Outlet 2 is ? Outlet 3 is ?
  3. First tell me what each outlet is... Don't use outlet 4 for lights. Save it for a pump...it has a relay in it. 4 and 8 are different than the rest.
  4. Then when you click on the outlet on the top field it should give you a drop down... You should see the outlets 3_1 thru 3_8. Select the outlet you want to configure.
  5. you should see your eb8 as a module.. You can check module setup to see if all is recognized.
  6. FYI, you can change the control to advanced and you will see the syntax code....its easier to copy and paste for people to review instead of screenshots....
  7. Sorry it was my phone.... But the pictures show the outlet as Base_Var1-4 those are the variable speed outlets for dimming lights and pumps. You need set on the correct outlet on the top field.
  8. I couldn't read it Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  9. try to cut and paste code....to verify your syntax....
  10. I went to HOT once. They had a really good selection of Aiptasia....might be worth your while....
  11. Just curious......why people don't seem to have canopies? I built one and mounted the IT on a picture frame plexi on top and it shall never get wet. Have magnetic front cover so it is easy access.
  12. I didn't use TBS but I started my tank with dry and 20# of live rock from floridaliverock.com. Ships from the TB area. Since I was just starting I just did the 2 day delivery that came fedex that he included in the purchase. He lists on Ebay also. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Aquarium-live-rock-for-marine-tanks-20-lbs-Florida-live-rock-/151225682385?pt=Coral_and_Live_Rock&hash=item2335c0c9d1 I did loose some clams etc. but I have still been happy with the rock compared with what you get locally. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/108501626/pics/20140212_114736.jpg Huge encrusted clams of some sort..and what I think is a scallop. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/108501626/pics/ClamsRocks.jpg More clams.....even survived my cycle. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/108501626/pics/20131022_193359.jpg Coral - survived transit and cycle.
  13. I will give my point of view being a newbie.... By the time you get a good temp controller, ATO, Power timers, etc. An apex is a no brainier. After I did some research I chose the Apex Lite. I have it monitor my PH, take care of heating, cooling fans, ATO, Fuge Light and pumps. The ease of pressing a button for shutting down all pumps for maintenance and then again starting with delay timers for skimmer and GFO pumps. I can take a vacation and still monitor my tank from remote sites with its built in network capability. I can link it to sites like aquaticlog and record a history of my tank. I am about 1 day away (Jebao connectors arrived in NY from China should be here tomorrow) from cabling my WP25's into it for time of day changes in flow. The apex was one of the best investments I made.....and I only wish I would have purchased it earlier. If you don't have a controller its because you just don't know what you are missing IMO.
  14. No....it did have some color but it has definitely grown and colored up nicely. I typically feed it a small piece of krill or silverside once a week.
  15. I have had 2 emeralds for about 5 months. The first time they molted I thought it was a dead crab. Could not believe how intact the shell looked. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  16. Not discounted just purchased the day it came in before they killed it. Their nems don't last very long in their tanks by me. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  17. Interested what your max intensity on ch1 and ch2. Schedule? Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  18. Luv my LTA. It was a rescued petco purchase. It now about 9". Found a home on the bottom base of rock in a crevice and hasn't moved. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  19. Tagging along.. Interest also. Daily - feed, check ato, skimmer, inventory fish. To minimize sump cleanings it houses a chocolate chip star that is an efficient cleaner. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  20. I have been reading threads for making cables for the wp40/25 and apex. From what I read the dc pumps have the same connector. If that is true then should be same cable. I just ordered the components to make some cables. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  21. I also have (2) 65aH Deep cycle batteries that are charged for using an inverter.
  22. I use one on my FW from time to time. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
