I am preparing to set up my first CA reactor and shopping around for equipment. I came across the aquarium plants carbon doser electronic CO2 regulator here and was wondering if anyone has or is using them. I am shopping around so looking for other recommendations. Thanks in advance

Never mind. Should have look at the pic you sent. Looks like you have a collection arrangement that is level to the bell which then drains to a PVC pipe to the sump. That correcct. I too am looking into using pH probe to control the solenoid? It looks like a standard pH probe. Can I then use the Apex? I am learning all I can before I venture into the world of CA reactor. So again, appreciate the help and thanks!!

I have two. I have one that has been in operation for eight months and that is what I will use it for. It is the 60 gal Reef Savvy. I will track the progress on that build thread. Yeah, with regards to G, I was surprised to see how fast and helpful he was. I plan on signing up to get help and support also. Any other Zeovit users out there? Quantum Reef plans on stocking Zeovit products. Stopped by there today to get stuff.

Just bought a used one from a WAMAS member today and curious if any other member owns one. I may need a replacement CO2 regulator and may opt for a ph monitor. I also read that a peristaltic pump is needed for the effluent. This will be my first CA reactor so I will take the time and read (not that I have not) but can never be enough before I start so for now, I need to plan on what other equipment I need. So, recommendations on equipment would be appreciated. If you are a Schuran Jetstream 1 owner, I hope you dont mind if I seek advice. Thank in advance.

Loni, Went to the zeovit forum and saw your thread. Just got Brad's zeovit stuff and a skimmer. Will try the zeovit on my first tank and see how it goes.

I feed every other day. Been doing that for 6 months. For no other reason that balancing my bio load.

How do you like the Zeovit System so far. Thinking of taking the plunge. Is it really time consuming? And expensive.

Awesome performance. Cant wait to load up. That 90 days sure is long!

Thanks. I am experiencing the same problem with the effluent valve all the way open but I am not controlling the recirculating pump like you described above. The skimmer performance is not consistent but I have had two episodes of overfilling the cup. Somewhat disappointed. I essentially have no bioload except for two tiger conch snails that keep my sand clean. I am going to try what you describe above. Know of any other place to get the ball valve supplied by Avast?

+1 on the Petco store of Rt 28 by Wegmans and also the store at Leesburg. You can tell from how the tanks look and the knowledge of the sales staff. Sometimes they have good deals. Just got a Pajama Cardinal at Leesburg that is eating flakes and Jan's food shortly after I got them.

The APEX ATO deluxe version has a switch that connects to the the controller which controls the aqualifter that is plugged into one of the EB8 (#4 or #8).

Me too. Have not had much luck but tapatalk on my iphone made it seem much easier. Foolproof at least for me...
