I have always used the Flipper Max but looking for something that is better for stubborn coralline algae. Please give me your opinion if you have used both or think there is something better. Aquarium is glass.
Need help with Icecap 4k gyre and controller. According to the instructional video, I should see the word pumps on the status screen, but I do not. Can any one help? Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
I also recommend a Reef buddy. They can learn your system and you their's. Switch off and cover when one goes out of town. Here is a piece of equipment that has saved me a ton of headaches.

Whats odd is I had been having trouble with zero nitrates and zero phosphates. This had been going on for quit some time even after over feeding. I started dosing N03. The recommended dose was 1ml per 25 gallons. I only dosed 2mls on my 120gal tank. The nitrates and phosphates are still zero. I am measuring nitrates with the salifert test kit and phosphates with Hanna ULR phosphate checker. So I am a little suprised to see cyano.
I mistakenly ordered calcium nitrate. I should have ordered sodium nitrate. Is there a use for the calcium nitrate? I need it to raise nitrates. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Better to buy to ULR or LR Hanna Phosphate Checker? I am having ultra low nutrients and need to start doing nitrates and phosphates, so I want to buy the phosphate checker, but not sure which one.
