  5. Great inexpensive little fish for beginners and advanced aquarist a like. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1634+3165&pcatid=3165
  6. Gorilla crabs are hairy and have blunt claws. Their claws look like stone crab claws.
  7. OH WOW!!! This is so wonderful. I'm so happy they're still alive and breeding. I'm ecstatic that you're raising them. Great job, Dave!!! When they get big enough Id's really like to purchase a few from you. This is just too cool.
  8. Hmmm, check for pests and check your parameters,
  9. Has anyone purchased one yet? What do you think? Tell me about the filtration system. Miss you guys!!!! Jan
  10. What causes and how to fix. You may want to consider taking it to see a vet. Dr.Torres at Pender animal Hospital is excellent. http://www.videojug.com/interview/fishkeeping-how-to-treat-swim-bladder-disease
  11. Sounds like swim bladder issue.
  12. Are you sure it is ick? Do they have a slime coat? Are spots white or do they look like they have a fine a goldish powder dusting?
  13. Does anyone have one they need to get rid of? I can get the 3 day pass but banquet and reception are sold out so searching for "full entrance". While in Florida stop by and say hi. Call me 703-862-6265 Jan
  14. They can be kept in the toilet, that's how resilient they are. Keep up with water changes and you'll be fine.
  15. This pic you posted does not look like your garden variety, run of the mill pill bug. It's also not a very good pic. Can you post a better picture? The pill bugs I'm used to seeing look more like the isopods attached to the fish in the pics I posted. This pic you posted looks more like a mantis shrimp or silver fish.
  16. Do you have a sump? Stick it in the sump by itself for a while. Change the aquascaping a little then add other fish. Trying adding the tang last or get rid if it. Is the tank big enough for it?
  17. Haven't a clue. Didn't know roly polies could live in salt water. Entomologist or Marine Biologist would know for sure. Land or sea I think they are all related and all considered isopod.
  18. Hmmm, looks more like an isopod to me. Makes mores sense too. They can get very large and are harmful parasites. Do a search for marine isopods.
  19. Nah, that tanks in the past. One mans trash is another mans treasure. Have fun with it. I'll be moving on to a custom tank and stand once we are settled in ;-). Thanks to everyone who helped Haywood move his tank. Enjoy whatever food you got. It was nice seeing you all. J
  20. ....and my house is in show ready freshly painted with newly refinished wood floors. Walls and floors cannot get scuffed, scratched, etc.. We had 6 guys switching off at various turns. It has to go up a flight of stairs and down the front steps. It was not easy.
  21. Rob, this is 3/4" thick starfire glass. It took 5 strong men to move it. Frank, his son, Justin, Coral Hind and my husband can all attest to this.
